My ear infection is finding the strangest ways to hurt me. I reached for my water bottle while watching TV and grabbed the hydrogen peroxide bottle instead. It was about the time I was on my second swallow when I realized something was amiss.

I'm not gonna lie, I chuckled reading that. Hopefully a stomach pump isn't in your future.

I've always understood that Hydrogen Peroxide is basically like Nitrous for the body, giving us a shot of oxygen straight to the blood. It's only dangerous if your blood oxygen levels get so high that you suffer from oxygen poisoning, but you probably didn't drink enough to be concerned.
Someone should correct me though if I'm wrong.

I have the same problem. I always keep a bottle of cyanide right next to my beer when I'm watching TV. Man, I've had too many too close calls.

I assumed it was bad to drink because it kills all the bacteria necessary for digesting foods and extracting the vital nutriments.
